The Cornish Ghost I

This series explores ghost fishing gear along the Cornish coastline. Ghost gear refers to abandoned, lost and discarded fishing equipment.

Over 640,000 tonnes of ghost gear enters our oceans annually.

Series one was created in the small village of Cadgwith, Cornwall.

It explores the complex relationship between the environment and ghost gear, revealing how plastic haunts the coast, in some cases even fusing with plant life to become a lasting feature of coastal habitats.
